Hello! My name is Beth Cooney and I am Home School Community Liaison here at St. Mary’s Academy CBS. My job is to support our students and you, their families, so that they can have the best experience and outcomes in school. This means helping your son to take a full part in school life so that they can do their best academically. Every day your son attends school makes a difference to his progress.
In CBS, we believe that a strong partnership between home, school and the community is very important. Being involved in your son’s education is the best way to support his attendance and attainment as he completes his secondary education. I work with many different agencies as part of my role in CBS, for example:

I am available to meet you in school or I can visit you at home. Home visits are a central part of my work and good communication can help your son to make the most of his school days.
